When the August rollout came out and reading a lot of news, I was a bit nervous about it. As an SEO Consultant, I needed to make sure my clients' SEO were well looked after. But somehow, I was optimistic as Google mentioned the latest update was to track down low-quality content and motivate useful content. I focus on SEO Services and write based on my experience, and I was optimistic.

Today, we launched our August 2024 core update to Google Search. This update is designed to continue our work to improve the quality of our search results by showing more content that people find genuinely useful and less content that feels like it was made just to perform well on Search.

Volatility
I did notice a lot of volatility during the rollout and for the past few days, I was noticing some consistency which was making me feel like the rollout was about to be completed. And there is, today we got the news.
Overall Results
At this point, with the websites I am maintaining, I didn't see a drop but saw some gains. From my experience, I can tell you real results will start to appear in the next few weeks. I am confident now and expect more improvements.
I did run a lot of tests during this update and some of the results I achieved were too good to be true. But to validate them, I will wait until this rollout is settled down.
Fantastic SEO Services is a relatively new site in a competitive niche, but it is showing lots of improvements and am happy with where it has been in the last few months.
Stay with basics
My mantra had been the same. Stick with the basics and follow Google's recommendations and you will be fine. Don't take shortcuts and if you are hiring an SEO Expert, do your research. Don't let someone sell your dreams. Rather than go for something that is achievable and you will bring brand and organic rankings in time.
The next few weeks will be really interesting and will guide us which way the rankings will go. Good luck everyone.
